Our Story
Born from a Vision to Empower Society
From grassroots education to Kerala's leading psycho-social organization a journey rooted in compassion and community.
Galaxy was established in 1989 by a group of dedicated youth who envisioned a society where education, awareness, and support could create meaningful change. During its early years, the organization concentrated on educational activities in rural and tribal settlements, helping children successfully complete their secondary education.
As community needs evolved, Galaxy expanded its focus beyond education to address broader psychosocial challenges affecting individuals and families. In 1996, the organization was formally registered and began developing specialized programmes focused on rehabilitation, prevention, and social well-being.
Today, Galaxy stands as Kerala's pioneering psycho-social non-profit organization committed to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through professional support services and community-driven interventions.
